Ivan Cheah, Managing Partner. Over a 25 year career spanning three continents, Mr. Cheah has worked with and advised corporations, senior executives, and entrepreneurs on billions of dollars of cross-border merger and acquisition transactions. Mr. Cheah has originated and advised on some of China’s most important cross-border M&A transactions including the landmark China National Chemical Corporation (ChemChina)’s $3.4 billion acquisition of Israel’s Makhteshim Agan Industries. Previously a partner of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, Mr. Cheah also served as a senior executive with Warner Brothers International, a division of Time Warner, including postings in Hong Kong as Senior Vice President, Asia, and in London as Senior Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Cheah studied violin with Dorothy DeLay at the Juilliard School of Music.
Jan Prising, Partner. Mr. Prising has been an adviser to major international corporations and investment banks including Nestle, Morgan Stanley, Bosch-Siemens, Electrolux, Perot Systems and RGI-Akers. Mr. Prising has served as President and CEO of Whirlpool Europe. Previously he held a variety of international senior management positions, including member of the executive management of a Swiss, international, public investment company in Zürich, the Forbo Group, and as President and CEO of the SABA Group, a Swedish company in the grocery retail and wholesale industry. Before joining Whirlpool Europe he served as member of the Group Management of AB Ratos , one of Sweden’s leading investment companies and as President and CEO of its biggest operational entity, Dahl Invest, Scandinavia’s largest wholesaler group in building materials. Mr. Prising began his career as a marketing executive with AB Electrolux in 1963, where he spent 15 years, including as senior vice president and member of the Group management in 1980-84, responsible for global floor care products operations. Mr. Prising is a graduate of the Stockholm School of Economics and Business Administration (MBA) and of the Royal Naval College. He has served as a commander in the Royal Swedish Navy. Mr. Prising has also appeared as a guest speaker at the Wharton International Forum in Europe and other major international conferences.

​Mars Liang Yu, Associate. Mr. Yu has extensive cross-border merger and acquisition advisory experience with an emphasis on valuation, structure, financial modeling, and strategic analysis. He has worked on assignments in diverse industries including Media, Agriculture, Clean Energy, Real Estate, Heavy Machinery and Automotive. Mr. Yu began his career in the banking division of KPMG, later joining the China office of Centric Advisers. Most recently, he was part of the M&A advisory team at Deloitte. Mr. Yu earned a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering at Sun Yat-Sen University, China, and a Master of Science in Finance Degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana. Mr. Yu is fluent in English, Mandarin, Shanghainese and Cantonese.
